Committee Good Scientific Practice
The DGM supports the rules of good scientific practice that have been drawn up across disciplines by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The members of the DGM already adopted subject-specific recommendations on the handling of research data (German only) at the 2018 general meeting.
A panel of usually five experienced members of the DGM is dedicated to all issues of good scientific practice. The panel was first elected in September 2020 for a term of four years. Current members of the panel are:

For members of the DGM, the committee is the first point of contact when scientific misconduct is suspected or cases of conflict arise. The committee advises the board of the DGM.
