On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the General Meeting (GM) will take place immediately after the conference.
Participation in the GM
All conference guests are cordially invited to attend the General Meeting. However, non-members may not sign the attendance list or participate in votes or elections; this is reserved for members of the Society.
Voting and elections
Every member of the DGM is entitled to participate in all votes and elections, regardless of their membership status (full-paying, reduced-rate, honorary member). If you are not yet a member but would like to become one, please fill out the membership application form (see here).
Election of the Executive Board
The DGM Executive Board will be re-elected at the 2025 General Meeting in Freiburg. All members of the DGM are entitled to run for any position on the Executive Board. Interested parties are requested to submit their candidacy by email to Prof. Dr. Clemens Wöllner. The following members of the current Executive Board will be running for re-election: Prof. Dr. Kathrin Schlemmer (for the office of president), Prof. Dr. Anna Wolf (vice president), Dr. Jörg Mühlhans (webmaster). Dr. Felix Thiesen has withdrawn his candidacy for the office of treasurer.
