The annual conference in Kassel successfully took place from 11 to 13 September. Around 100 people attended the conference, during which two keynote lectures, 16 talks, and 37 posters were presented between Friday and Sunday. The General Assembly was held on Saturday, during which Annemarie Ohlsen received this year’s Poster Award. We extend our warmest congratulations!
Prof. Dr. Kai Lothwesen was elected as the new editor of the Yearbook of Music Psychology, which will be published by Nomos Verlag from 1 January 2027. Prof. Dr. Daniel Müllensiefen was elected as an additional member of the Committee for Good Scientific Practice. We thank them both for their willingness to serve!
The conference concluded on Sunday with an excursion to the water features at Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. Information about the 2027 annual conference will be announced as soon as possible; the call for papers will be published in early 2027.
