DGM Ethic Committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, the DGM established its own Ethics Committee by resolution of the General Assembly, as many members either do not have their own committee at their institutions, or one that is not professionally suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the society can view the rules of procedure directly on the website, or download the application form and fill it out and send it to the chair of the committee for an application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Committee Good Scientific Practice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The DGM supports the rules of good scientific practice that have been drawn up across disciplines by the German Research Foundation (DFG)<\/a>. The members of the DGM already adopted subject-specific recommendations on the handling of research data at the 2018 general meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A committee of generally five experienced members of the DGM is dedicated to all issues of good scientific practice. The committee was first elected in September 2020 for a term of four years. For members of the DGM, the committee is the first point of contact when scientific misconduct is suspected or cases of conflict arise. The committee advises the DGM Executive Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DGM Online Testing Server (DOTS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The DOTS is a server hosted by the DGM for online surveys and psychological tests, implemented with the psychTestR<\/code>-Framework<\/a>. The use of the server is free for members of the society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promotions of Young Scientists<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Network DGM.Docs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The networking meetings for young scientists take place online several times a year and serve to support DGM members in the early phase of their scientific career or for their doctoral projects. The meetings are announced via a newsletter, and participants can also submit topics they would like to present or discuss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poster Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the course of submitting a contribution to the annual conference, non-promoted first authors can participate in the poster prize. The submitted posters will be reviewed by a jury of experts and the winner will be announced and honoured at the general meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel grants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DGM awards some travel grants to members with own contribution for each annual conference to facilitate their participation. All application information will be sent out via newsletter in the run-up to the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsletter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All members receive the newsletter “[DGMusikpsychologie]”, which is sent out approximately once a month by e-mail and provides information about conferences and events as well as current job advertisements and other topics related to music psychology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
